Our tournament originates from a town in western Hungary, Celldömölk, hence the name Cell-Cup.

In the course of more than 28 years since the beginning, it has become one of the biggest and most popular handball festivals of Europe with top class indoor-only matches. Year by year, over 170 teams and thousands of handball players and fans arrive to us from all around the world. A selection of accompanying entertainment programs contribute to the success of the festival, thus making sure that every moment you live through here will remain an unforgettable experience and a milestone in your handball career. For many, this tournament feels like a miniature Olympic Games, because it is so much more than just a sports event. Cell-Cup is a real festival, a celebration of handball. Games are followed by different programs and activities for the participants every day. The center of Cell-Cup festival is Veszprém, the city of queens, home of the Champions League-participant team Telekom-Veszprém.
